Two roofs on the same block, forty years apart. That's the job here. Off the 10 at Del Mar or San Gabriel Blvd, you'll find a 1930s bungalow with original clay barrel tile sitting next to a teardown rebuild with a low-slope deck and three penetrations nobody flashed right. We work on both. The older core near the Mission needs a lighter touch — those buildings are genuinely old, the city pays attention to what happens near the Mission District, and a random architectural shingle isn't going to fly on a street of period homes.
Valley Blvd is its own world. Those small commercial buildings are mostly low-slope, patched by whoever was cheapest that year, and they leak at the seams and curbs. We re-roof a lot of them. If Mandarin or Cantonese is easier, say so when you call.

Can you match the tile on my older home?
Usually. Old clay barrel tile is often salvageable: we lift and stack it, replace the underlayment and broken pieces, then reset the field. Sourcing close-enough tile for the gaps is the real work.
My Valley Blvd building leaks in hard rain. Is that the whole roof?
Not always. On low-slope commercial, water usually enters at seams, drains and equipment curbs rather than the field. We'll inspect, tell you straight whether it's a repair or a replacement, and document it either way for a claim.
